Oh dear. I’ve been cooking along and writing a bunch for work. I knew it’d been a while since I posted, but had no idea it’d been since APRIL! Thus, a quick tour of all the things!
Briefly, the chocolate terrine was absolutely delicious. So, too, was the flavor of the ginger crème anglaise. BUT, as we said over on the Cs&Cs, it curdles if you follow the recipe. I waited so long for it to thicken that I raised the heat too much. It was fine and not too bad. No one complained.
Other June recipe–braised chicken with figs and mashed potatoes:
served this to friends with the terrine for dessert. Tasty with chicken!
My kid still asks for this once a week. FABULOUS.
Terrible photo taken at the end of Easter dinner. The cakes were too rich(!) for some of my guests, but all agreed that the sauce was divine.
All of the tapenade we’ve made from MPK has been super tasty and this was no exception.
And for some reason I never posted Dee’s cheesecake back in April. I minified it and LOVED it.
That’s it for now!
