Unlike many of my AmFT friends who finished all the recipes in that book, THIS is the first book from which I’ve ever cooked every single recipe. I realized a week ago there were only 2 I’d yet to tackle: the buckwheat rolls with seaweed butter and fresh herbed pasta.
First for the cover recipe. I’ve made this so many times for so many different people and it’s a great go-to that most everyone finds tasty. The only negative is there’s not a lot of make-ahead elements, which I prefer when entertaining. Yes, it’s easy to make, but choosing to make it with pasta created a bit of a last-minute flurry for me when making this for friends recently.

The 2 catch-up recipes
And now that closes out our time with My Paris Kitchen, blogging-wise, at least. I know I’ll be returning to this book quite often because so many of the recipes were simply great. Just last night, we hosted people for dinner and I made the Basque tortilla, fattoush, and the Parisian Gnocchi.
